Most of us worship the grounds on which our favorite celebrity walks. So, naturally, we also believe any word that comes out of their mouth. If they speak highly of any product, we blaze trail to the shopping store to get our hands on the product in question. However, two facts remain unchanged; firstly, these products are crazy expensive and secondly, they do not always end up being the best investment on our part. As they say, the name sells and in case of celebrity endorsements, the name sells in millions; whether the product was worth it or not remains doubtful.
While most of us have come to understand that celebrity endorsed products are a complete waste of time and money, every once in a while, some of these endorsed products end up actually being good for us. Let’s see what these producers are:
Rihanna Puma Creepers:
Famous crooner Rihanna, or better known as RiRi, is no amateur when it comes to fashion. She is famous for walking down the streets in trending accessories and clothes. So, when the artist announced her collaboration with Puma, we all went a little crazy and thankfully, it was worth everything. One product in particular ended up taking the shoe fashion by storm; The Rihanna Puma Creepers. These things sold out so fast that there was a shortage within 35 minutes of its release. Even other famous celebrities, such as British model Cara Delavigne, Lena Dunham, Jessica Alba, the Hadid sisters and of course, Rihanna herself, were seen wearing these sneakers. And for once, it wasn’t just because of Rihanna that these sneakers caught instant attention; they are actually pretty cool looking and very comfortable to wear.
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle by Keira Knightley:
Usually, we believe that anything made by Coco couldn’t be a waste of money but that’s not true. Most of the times, things are not all what they are made out to be. However, this fragrance endorsed by Keira Knightley was released in 2001 and was aiming for the younger target audience. 15 years later and it is still considered one of the best fragrances ever made by Coco.
Nespresso by George Clooney and Matt Damon:
The glamorous duo of Matt Damon and George Clooney endorsing a coffee machine! Admit it; we’ll buy it even if it would make coffee that tasted like charcoal. Thankfully, it does not. In fact, Nespresso admittedly brews a pretty good tasting coffee. If its popularity and demand has any say, we can safely say that this investment is totally worthy.
Mango Jeans by Dakota Johnson, Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson:
Even though Mango jeans and other clothing items are endorsed by famous celebrities like Dakota Johnson, Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson, they are very reasonably priced and good in quality. They are excellent for wearing daily and to bring style to the street.
We know that most celebrities endorse products for the hefty amount they are getting for it and many have also been caught red handed using the competitor’s products of their endorsed brand. Nonetheless, every now and then, we get some things from these celebrities that are worth our every cent.
